I'm interested in becoming a licensed caregiver. What type of certification/training should I have in California?

I spent more than two years taking care of my father while he battled cancer - managing his care and caregiving myself. The experience left me wanting to help others wondering what would my father of done if I had not been around - so many people out there in need to help them to appointments, be their advocate for all things.

You would need training as a CNA, a certified nurses assistant. If you needed additional training, a caregiving agency would be able to tell you that.
