Find Care & Housing
I agree with Austin. If you have a home health care agency talk to them. If you don't have one, see if you qualify for assistance by one. I have both of my parents and they were a little reluctant at first, but they are now acclimated to it and acutaly enjoy seeing their CNA come and it is a big help to me as well. Our CNA assists them with their baths and other hygiene and will even change the bed linens if you want. An RN also stops by every 2 weeks and she is able to order catheter supplies for my Dad as well as depends for my Mom. My Dad will even let the CNA know if he is having any issues. He likes to be independant and does not always let me know if there is a problem. Good Luck with everything. I have had my parents for almost 2 years now and I am always finding out about agencies and programs that will continue to help me keep my Mom at home. I will also say again as I have many times on this site, if you have not talked to an Elder Law attorney I suggest you do so. Elder Law is a specialized law, so be sure they know elder law. My attorney gave me a wealth of information about available programs in my area as well as financial information. Good luck and God Bless.

Ask at the store where you are buying them they will be able to tell you if they are covered if they say they are not sure do not buy them there because if they are not sure the answer is probably no, call the insurance company and ask what kind would be covered if any if you have home care the agency will probably be able to get some for you free-have you tried cloth ones you can wash-it would probably be better in the long run for you.
