Getting Diabetes. Was asking if we make too much to get assistance for health aid?

The only way to find that out is to call the agency you are seeking help from and fill out their forms. They will examine the forms and make a decision. You can also call your local Area Agency on Aging for help.

Hi, Packkman. It looks like the phone number for the Monroe County Agency on Aging is (570) 420-3735.

Hopefully you can find some info and assistance. Good luck to you and your wife!

Most State Medicaid agencies have websites with eligibility information and some have on-line applications.

Good advice given. Contact your local counsel on aging. Any hospital social worker should be able to give you a number.

If you are getting diabetes can I encourage you to get a referral to a dietitian and see if it can be controlled through diet. Far better then insulin.
