From your profile - it is very difficult to deal with people that don't want to follow sound advice for how to better take care of themselves. My mom is a poster child for this. I've put my foot down about a few things. But there are sooooo many other issues that leave me wanting to beat my head against a wall. It really has made me have so much less respect for her and it's just sad and frustrating. My sister feels the same way. We take care of ourselves and actively seek solutions for our problems instead of just sitting around complaining about our issues like mom does.

If you're burning out, you might look into getting some caregivers to help your parents, whether they like it or not. Look at all the things you are doing for them and see how you can step back from some of them. Shopping? Do it online and have it shipped to them? Meds? Have them mailed? Meals? Meals on wheels. ETC. Hire (with their money, of course) a housekeeper.

Setting boundaries is another good one. They may give you resistance on things like this but you have to think of yourself first.

You might want to be looking for a caregiver support group in your area instead, as unless a therapist has been there done that, I'm not sure how much help they can provide.
When I was at my breaking point while caring for my husband, I "Googled" local caregiver support groups in my area, and was fortunate to find one that at the time met twice a week in person(pre-Covid)in my city. They saved my life, as I was at my wits end when I first started going. There is nothing better than to be able to share with other folks who are or have been in the same/similar situation as you.
We of course are now meeting on Zoom twice a week, and although my husband has now been dead a year, I still attend to try and help others that are still like you in the trenches of caregiving.
I wish you the very best in getting the help you need.

Dr Phil is always advertising their Doctors on Demand. Copays may even be waived. Google and see what you can find.
