I cant do this stuff so I am copying what my friend wrote for me the other day. She is not here. Please help me I am going to be homeless in a few weeks if I can't get help. Thank you and I am sorry.

Rebecca here, a friend of and with Michael, who asked for help writing this. I will try to make this brief and to the point.

Mike was deemed mentally disabled 100% by a SS judge in Calif, in 2008. His fiancee was his caretaker and did many of the things on his behalf that had to do with articulating (framing sentences ) writing letters, managing various household daily tasks that were /are difficult to now some impossible challenges. They lived together and in early 2017 he was diagnosed with a permanant physical disability that severly limits his oxygen levels....hence,, his breathing. Mike nearly died in 2017 feb when he collapsed due to an exaserbated asthma attack. He was put in sedation for 8 days and woke up on the 9th. 11 days in ICU. Later on it was discovered he had permanant paralysis in his diaphram or Phrenic nerve. His fiancee was there for his recovery in the very beginning, however in that time, Mike discivered she was having an affair and had defrauded his credit cards for several things unrelated to the household including casino cash advances while he was in hospital. Has witnesses and forgery of his name on another account, done by her now boyfriend ...husband.

As he brought all of it to attention, she made excuses etc for her never being home anymore and just lied and left him distraught. One day she told Mike she was going out on an errand and would be back in an hour to care for him in he needed. She never returned home again to live or help. She abandoned every single personal possesion, her exclusive pets, the relationship, her financial obligation and Mike's care as caretaker. That was near 2 years ago and in that time he has reported things to law enforement and provided proof of defrauding by b/f and caretaker, threats of death or bodily harm by her b/f who also continues to this day bullying Mike, defaming his name and sudo or implied threats. Law enforcement isn't called any longer because 8 months ago, after a number of calls expressing the threats and bullying, the officer said to him that he was just a broken hearted boyfriend and let go and go to bed and have a glass of warm milk.

They have done nothing to help Mike labeling him as 5150 which is patronizing to him and he is talked down to. He lives in fear, is agoraphobic and continues to be taken advantage of by people that forced bankruptcy, repossession of cars and now he is faced with eviction or foreclosure of his house in his name just after saving it from auction. He has no one to help him since last care taker and room mate bailed on rent of 600 that was to go to trustee with 1800 other of his ss check which leaves nothing to eat, care for animals, pay anything household or health related. He is likely going to find himself homeless because of his ex-caretaker financee, her b/f and their friends who also bully threaten, steal and extort his personal posessions.

Mike has had an extremely difficult last few years from disabilities to abuses of many forms and he has no idea nor can he execute doing anything lke contacting and explaining, but he's going to lose the home he has had and never was late until caretaker started abuse of her title, which sent him into a 1000 dollar a month deficit and worse because of the abuse of his credit. Someone needs to help Mike not have house foreclosed and seek retribution against crimes commited to him. He is literally a day or two from an eviction notice. Please help. Thank you. Rebecca.......

Hi. I'm sorry for the situation you're in. However, this forum is a support/discussion group. We don't intervene in one another's living situations.

I think you need to call Adult Protective Services or the Office on Aging where you live and see what resources they can recommend in your local area.

Rebecca, on Mike's behalf - hadn't Mike better go back to the court which declared him incapacitated in 2008? If that court appointed a guardian for him and it all went south from there, that seems the "square one" to start again from.

Or, call APS and ask for urgent help. Mike is young as far as their customers go, but he's still vulnerable and presumably still a ward of the court.

Are the police aware of the 2008 judgement?

Has anyone spoken to the mortgage provider?

Are you able to handle much of this? I applaud your trying to help Mike, but maybe the best thing to do would be a bullet point list which you could then give to a qualified social worker. It seems a lot for even the best friend to take on.

I see nothing about a guardian. Being pronounced disabled does not mean a person needs a guardian.

I am so sorry for your situation. Like suggested. At this point he needs to call APS or Office of Aging. Or the Office of disabilities. I really doubt at this point they will be able to save ur home. They maybe able to find other housing within ur means. You should be getting foodstamps and utility help.
