Hes been with C.O. 9 years he has seen over time I need someone full time I am totally disabled I don't trust many people and need help with everything if he b Decided to quit how will they pay him ?

Sorry I am confused. Your profile says you are caring for a woman who is 45 years old who lives in Independent Living due to a stroke. Is the above post being written as though you are that person? We had another poster who did that and it was so very confusing when it came to getting answers.

If you are the caregiver, what do you mean by C.O.? And who is "they" when it comes to being paid?

Yes, you can be paid if the person you are taking care of can pay you out of her own pocket. The vast majority of people taking care of a loved one or a friend do not get paid.
