I have to get infusions every 4 weeks. Because of the medication they give me beforehand I can't drive. I'm 62 and on disability through my work AND Social Security . AETNA, S.S. ADVANTAGE PLAN.

Call your doctors’ office and ask the receptionist what medical transportation options are available in your community.

There should be transportation service resources available through your county Dept of Aging. The county may offer bus transportation for this reason specifically. In my county the fee per ride is determined by the person’s income. You have an advantage in you know well in advance (4 weeks) when your next infusion is as the county requires that people call a week in advance to book the service.

Or Uber/Lyft services may be availyin your area. Or private taxi.
