As in using her hands to roll the edges of the fabric? I’ve seen elderly people do this and thought it to be a comforting, repetitive behavior. My mother used to tell me that her mother folded and refolded the same washcloths over and over, it made her happy

I wonder if she would like one of the fidget aprons (muffs, pets, blankets etc.) 🤔

This is not unusual. My Mom constantly picked at her slacks. My daughter made her a fidget muff. They also come in blankets. Moms had a zipper on it. A button with a button hole. A flap with something under it. Squiggles that could be played with, ribbons, ect.
