My ex hated me and was doing everything in his power to make me lose my nursing. He even had me arrested 3 times on lies cause him and his girlfriend wanted me to not have means to support my self. He even wrote a letter to judge stating that he lied. He was self inflicted him self to make it look like me and it wasn't me he had abused me for 8 years cutting my fingers off stomping on my back, multiple blackeye and sever traumatizing me. Now my nursing has been affected due to this lies. He was going behind my back and reporting his self inflicting as I was doing this. What do I do I need to do to get this off my background?

Start by contacting an attorney, maybe one that specializes in employment laws. Your ex is human excrement. Hope you get resolution and justice. Peace to you!

You have letters from a court.
I was a nurse.
I saw people accused inappropriately.
The CNA licensing board board is who you go to and they will walk you through the procedure. You may end up with check ins and so on; whatever lies he told must involve some law or some proof or they would not have got the attention of anyone. If he accused you of drugs then you can expect to have to pee in the proverbial cup at a second's notice. Whatever accusations he made will not get through the board's examinations without proof. Taking a nursing license from someone is not all that easy to do. I imagine it is the same for a CNA. I am assuming there are no court judgements against you; if so you may be toast as no one will accept a CNA with a record adjudged abusive.
I must hope that you kept careful records and diaries of your abuse, because it will be crucial to have good records, and I will warn anyone doing care to KEEP A DIARY. Especially if you are managing the finances of anyone else, or giving direct care. Diaries are considered gold in court cases. Keep it in ink with no torn out pages. Composition book is good enough. Keep it religiously. It takes only minutes a day.

If you weren’t convicted of anything, then his lies wouldn’t affect your background investigation. The background investigation shows convictions. Did you get a copy of the paperwork & see for yourself what is on it?

First of all, I am so sorry that you endured abuse. Secondly, congrats for leaving his sorry a**!

I would run a background report on myself and see what turns up. How dare he try to damage your reputation concerning your work life. That is your bread and butter. His actions are inexcusable.

How does he expect you to survive without a paycheck? His girlfriend needs to stay out of your life as well.
