Most state Medicaid programs will pay a spouse, but there are a few that will not pay a member of the same household or a POA. Georgia is one of the few states will not pay a spouse.

You are wanting to be paid to take care of your husband? If he’s a veteran, he might qualify for aid and attendance and that could be used to pay you or a hired caregiver. If You could hire a homecare agency and the recoup some of the costs by getting hired by the agency & assigned to your husband. I don’t know if that would work though.
