I ask for proof of this theft and I get nothing. I want to clear my good name. I love my father. I moved to Florida to take care of him in 2004. Can I get an audit done? How can I clear my name?
Accused? By sisters or have you actually been charged with something? If just sisters, many siblings do this sort of thing, I know.my twisted sisters reported me to APS for financial exploitation. One of them knew nothing of the sort was occurring. Sibs can get downright brutal and vindictive. How did I deal? Detach. Now have nothing to do with the lying, conniving, b""""es
You may want to consider getting a geriatric care manager involved. That person would be able to protect dad and you too. Maybe even get sisters to leave it alone. Then if something should blow up in the future you have the GCM to back you and dad up.
Is this right? You live in Florida, your father lives with you, the sisters have in mind someplace up north to place your father? Where do the sisters live? Up north, or in Florida?
With the kind of harassment you're getting, I would go for the nuclear option. See an attorney, discuss their accusations and intimidation attempts, and ask the attorney to send them a cease and desist letter, indicating that any reports or claims they make to others about financial mismanagement could be considered libel or slander.
He can change the POA anytime he likes. He should talk to his attorney for advice on how to assure this does not happen again. He and you are going to need to get thick skin and tell sissies to leave it alone.
Are you his POA? You could hire an accountant to take care of dad's more key, but it gets expensive. Tell sissies that if they want an audit, what the cost will be, and that they must pay it if it is to be done. If you are POA it is none of their business, per normal terms in a POA.
Changing to sissies, is that what dad wanted or was he coerced?
I believe she is repeatedly telling him to do things her way. he got in my car the other day and said I don't want to go up north. this is when I confronted sis and she made the steeling accusation

That might stop them.
