My aunt is elderly and needs home health care. Will Humana pay for the care?

When choosing a supplimental for Mom her doctors didn't either except Humana or didn't know about them. The ones that did know about them said Humana paid very little. You really need to call Humana. It depends on what contract ur Mom is under to what will be paid. Medicare sends out a yearly booklet outlining what they will pay. Does u Aunt have a life threatning illness. Maybe able to get hospice. Check out your office of the aging.

Long term home health care is not covered by Medicare or insurance companies. Look into Medicaid if she is poor.
