My dad is living independently at home. He has been doing well, never had any major health issues. Lately he has started forgetting small things and on occasion getting confused. Not anything that was to alarming. But, on Friday without letting me or my brother know he bonded out an adopted brother who is very manipulative and dangerous. My dad has not given us any real reason why or what lead up to this decision. He has made the statement he is not sure why he did it and then he has said he thought said person would change. I am concerned that dad may not have been thinking clearly or was conned into this. We couldn't get the bond reversed since my dad signed there is nothing we can do. I am concerned and not sure what to think of this behavior. I also don't know how we protect my dad from this happening again.
