Lately, mom has been taking off her pants and underwear whenever she goes to the bathroom. Taking the underwear off isn't anything new but she's always put her pants back on until now. These last couple of days, she'll take off everything and then walk around without any pants on. I've had to re-pants her twice so far today.
I would have to chase her down and telling her I could see her butt or what ever else might have been exposed. I made sure she was clean and dry and either pull them up or change them,
A full length skirt may not work. You might try a short night gown or a long tee shirt. This is what I finally got Luz to wear and it helped for awhile then, It became just a tee shirt. No problem with the underwear showing since there were never any visitors other than the nurse or an aide for while.
If she cleans herself after going, you may have to check the bottom and back to make sure she raised the hem high enough. Of course you knew that already.
