Sherri's right on the money, but don't stop there. Check out nationalresourcedirectory.gov and search under "financial assistance for caregivers." Do the same with medicare.gov. ... Let us know how else we can be of assistance, and Happy Holidays!

If you can get them on Medicaid, you can be paid to look after them and keep them out of a nursing home. So if they have any assets those would need to be transferred before they can get on Medicaid. Be sure and talk to an attorney to make sure that you have done every thing legally. Good luck! :)
