so many electric bath chairs I see in medlinko. How should I buy them and which characteristics I should pay more attention to?

Most powered bath chairs don't do anything to help you actually get into the tub, they simply lower and raise you once you are in there. A former member of the forum had very good things to say about a lift that actually swings the seated person into the tub, I couldn't find those posts but it operated similarly to this one

They are usually even with the top side of the tub. If your person has trouble sitting down that low, those will be a problem. Pay attention to how low they go in the tub. Some don't really go low enough to actually soak in the bath water. Look at the flap that extends from seat to edge of tub - measure your tub - will there be enough flap on edge of tub to support a person. If not enough flap, it can give way to allow a person to fall or tip the entire chair over. I looked a a bunch of them and could find problems with most.

I accidently ran across the Pro Bath Chair Lift and it was worth every penny I spent. And it fit into a pretty small bathroom. It lowered to the tub and my parent was able to taking long warm baths again. I installed it myself and I'm a very small person. Some of the parts are heavy when installing, so you may need a little assistance or a handyman to help you out if you don't do the DIY thing. It can be ordered with a solid seat or a seat that has cut out. I recommend the cut out so all the water drains off chair as you raise it out of the tub.

I do not represent this company or make money off sales. I simply share info about the chair with EVERYONE who is trying to take care of an elderly person. Greatest thing since sliced bread!! Read about it here; there's a video to see it work, too. https://safebathchair.com/

frank25184: Per Google - "How does an electric bath chair work?

The electric bath chair features a padded seat that rotates, facilitating safer transfers on and off the seat. The swivel function also eliminates the need to turn while lifting your legs over the side of the tub or slide onto the seat, reducing friction and the possibility of skin irritation."

That appears to be referring to a certain model electric bath chair.
