I'm wondering what others thoughts are about how to charge for overnight care. I've worked different overnight jobs, both provided bed for me to sleep. The one job the lady slept through most nights, only up every now and then with confusion or fall. The other job most nights she was up 6 or more times, using bathroom and lots of confusion. I found it hard to gain understanding about needing good pay when up so much. Any experience with this?

Find Care & Housing
My Dad had over-night caregivers as he was a fall risk... these caregivers were required to stay awake during their shift, as they had to be alert to hear if my Dad was getting up so they could help him back and forth to the bathroom.

It sounds like you work as an Independent Contractor and not with an Agency. The Agency that I used, and I live in a large metro area, was $28/hour for an 8 hour shift.
