Not all cases are the same. Not all cases progress rapidly. Read as much as you can. "Surviving Alzheimer's" and "The 36-hour day" are good. For personal insight "The Long Goodbye" by Patti Davis, Ronald Reagan's daughter, reflections on his Alzheimer's.
