How do I cash these SS checks?

I do not have a checking,savings or estate.They had said the first payment we received would be a paper check then a few days later we would receive a debit card and every month from then would be put on debit card.But i assume i wont receive anymore now that hes past away and im 48 yrs. Old.So how do i cash this check from SSI DO I JUST SIGN HIS NAME TO IT AND HAVE SOMEONE DEPOSIT INTO THERE ACCOUNT AND THEN GIVE ME THE MONEY OR WHAT??OF COARSE I CANT REACH OUR SSI WORKER TO ASK AND IM ON THE VERGE OF BEING HOMELESS AND ELECTRIC AND WATER IS ALREADY CUT OFF BECAUSE IT TOOK THEM SO LONG TO GET THE PAYMENT MAILED OUT TO ME.AND NOW THIS.PLEASE HELP WHAT CAN I DO??
