Find Care & Housing
Have you contacted your local transportation authority? Larger cities/towns usually have a service that you apply for transportation for a disabled person and you then get discounted rides. Some offer discounts on taxis as well.

In my area you have to schedule the day before you need a ride. They can accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, etc. And depending on the disability, a companion rides free.

Council on Aging. They have van service to and from doctor appointments. Best wishes for you.

Also, I know my church has a ministry with volunteers that offer this service so you may want to check with churches near you.

The area on aging where I live does not have van services. They do not provide transportation period but can give you a list of transportation services.

That’s a shame, Cali. We have vans that are always busy transporting passengers here.
