My aunt has taken control of my grandmothers finances and it has come to our families attention that she is making large amount of cash withdrawls and opening high limit credit cards in her name. How can I protect my grandmother and her finances when my aunt has all of the necessary account and personal information to do what she pleases in my grandmothers name?

Find Care & Housing
YOU call the cops and report the crime, plain and simple. You call the county APS (Adult Protective Services) and report it to them too.

First of all, you ascertain whether she is making purchases that are for your grandmother's benefit. Where does your grandmother live? With your aunt?

If she is making purchases that do not support your grandmother, then definitely call the authorities. Does your GM know about this misuse of power? Does the aunt have power of attorney in order to do these things? Perhaps Grandmother gave her the authority and y'all just didn't know it? Don't jump the gun, but don't let too much time pass, either.
