My husband isn't mentally that far gone yet.  He knows when he gets his meds and when he doesn't.  He states that they aren't giving him his evening meds and the NH keeps giving one excuse after another.

Ask to see his med record.. The med nurse should note date and time individual meds are given. Sometime things will be discontinued or dosage changed by the NH Dr. The med nurse will be RN OR LPN and they are required to stay with the patient and watch him/her actually take the meds.

Sorry - the NH admits that he isn't getting his meds and explains why but their reasons are feeble; or the NH disputes that he isn't getting his meds and says that he is?
