If Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO loses their eligibility does this means all Mercy doctors in the Mercy system do as well?

Do you mean Accreditation?

If that is the word you mean...then yes, it means that hospital cannot have physicians or their staff...nor have any doctors with the right to practice there.

If you didn't mean accreditation...then...what eligibility? I can only think that perhaps you mean that the PPO, HMO has dropped them from the covered service?

Their Medicare eligibility.if the hospital looses their Medicare and Medicaid eligibility.does this mean the entire mercy system does.meaning the mercy system doctors.

The only way for them to lose that eligibility is for them to no longer be an accredited hospital.

Mercy Springfield has a complicated problem. It appears that they are in the process of resolving the problems that threatened their Medicare status.

This whole issue is just very unnerving when all your doctor's are in the mercy system.when you have to get frequent test and lumbar punctures.and all test and LP's and hospitalizations are all done at mercy .and I am on Medicare.
