My mom does not want to leave she wants to stay home an someone to help her. Can home care help her?

Yes. We found family members & friends are more comfortable to my mother-in-law , not to mention trust worthy. But some in-home care people are just great. Some have a big turnover. It's good to establish 1 or 2 of the same "helpers" then constantly changing. Do interviews. Make sure everyone is comfortable.
