I do not feel comfortable driving in high traffic areas to doctor appointments at broadway/wilmont area for example. husband is also elderly and has had heart surgery.
See if your town has door to door transportation services. Many do, and it's often very reasonable. You might also call your area's senior services office. They may have a good solution.
