Parents both 76. Hospice at home for Dad just started last week - Northern Berkshire County. Mom is the caregiver. She is keeping it together - meds, feeding, lack of social interaction, total change in their way of life. She is really doing a great job and I come to help weekly and she has other family nearby. But throughout the day, I can tell she feel overwhelmed - from one caregiving task to the next; she can't shower, grocery shop, maintain the house like she wants, socialize, get enough sleep etc. She and I both know that it could be much worse, and recognize how lucky we are, but it is still very hard. I am wondering what resources might be helpful for her and suggestions as to how I can best be of service to her as well. I think I know - but figured I might as well ask the experts. Thanks.
