I saw a commercial today where they will send Depends or whatever at no charge if you have Medicare Part B. I am wondering how good they are and if they're legit. Thanks so much.

Miz, I had called them and they said that they do not accept Medicare. My mother said she swore they said they did and I saw the commercial again lastnight and it states Medicaid only. I called medicare and no they don't pay for incontinence products. However, we have been told to keep any and all receipts for anything we buy as they are tax deductible. As far as them being legit, they say it's ALL free. So if they ask for any payment at all, that's when you know something is wrong with them.

Medicaid not Medicare may pay for incontinence items depending on your diagnosis and your state. They are not "free" however, they are being paid for by Medicaid....thus taxpayers.

We used ActivStyle. It could be set up to get an automatic delivery of a set amount or to ship on a phone call. They did a fine job. BUT they were paid for by Medicaid, not Medicare. It would be easy to miss that distinction when hearing an ad.
