My mom was on Medicaid with a house in her name. Switched to Medicare, and now my sister is concerned that mom's Medicaid debt (2,000) will put my mother's house in probate when she dies. She also is creating several thousands of dollars towards Medicare and my sister insists there is no way we can avoid giving up all of my mom's estate once she dies.
