Depends on how much care you need. If it's for a limited time, ask one of your doctors to script for it. What you get depends on your doctor's evaluation of your needs.

You can also ask for palliative care, for chronic conditions. This varies quite a bit by company/agency, and from my conversations with companies providing it, the level of care also varies depending on what each company offers.

This is apparently still a new program and it seems not everyone is familiar with it.

Call a care at home agency. It is quite costly and is paid out of pocket unless you have an insurance policy, long-term- care that will pay it. Call your Area Agency on Aging to see if there might be a program you may be able to qualify for.

Your doctor may prescribe some services that may  be covered by Medicare/Medicaid.
