I'm getting an elderly group together in my local area and looking for funding. Any advice?

in my local area i am getting together a much needed group together for the elderly who do nothing but sit a look at four walls of there home every day i was asked to get this group together i have a lot of people interested but it the funding to take them on trips to get people in to give talks on heath care home security ect ect is there anywhere i can go for help with funding i am a volunteer at our local community centre who have asked me to take this on

What state and county are you in? Senior transportation is usually funded by the county. Speakers are usually free of charge. Most municipal, county and state parks have free or discounted admission for the elderly and disabled. Same for county fairs.
