Can one get out of 30 day notice if assisted living facility is requiring immediate move to their memory care?

You need to sit down with the facility and come to a mutual agreement about the pro-rated amounts for rent. For us, the rent stopped only after we removed all of mom's stuff from her room. The room was filled immediately by a new tenant. In NY, there is no 'penalty' when the room is immediately refilled. We received a refund of the pro-rated rent.
