I really don't understand the situation. If your pulmonary doctor has done pulmonary tests and determined that you need oxygen, he or she will write a script to fax to a DME provider that they've used. Or if you have a DME you prefer, you can ask the doctor's office to fax the script to that preferred DME.

Then the DME contacts you to arrange to bring the oxygen supplies out.

Could you explain exactly who you're contacting to try to get oxygen? I also don't understand your first 2 sentences. Could you elaborate please?

Is the doctor who diagnosed the COPD and other pulmonary issues not writing a script? Or is Medicaid refusing to honor the script? I just don't understand the basis for which you've been denied oxygen.

Why were you denied? Did you let your Patient First Doctor know you've been denied? That's where I'd start. Or give us more information to work with about why you were turned down.
