Elderly friend was injured in car accident that wasnt his fault. He'll definitely need homecare and insurance company will probably pay for services. Of course, since I already do a few homecare tasks for him now, I would take over in doing tasks he can no longer perform as a result of the accident. I want to be able to meet requirements to be his caregiver set by state and insurance company so I can receive compensation.

The insurance company wants the employer Identification. I found that the only way I could satisfy the insurance company was to use and agency...

So..become an agency and get the certification for your agency with the State. They will require you to have drug testing plan for care providers, training for them, and care plans, daily logs, and proof of all taxes paid.

If you call the State Dept of a health (they issue the certification) you will learn that they do not issue this to individuals
