I am on a high school reunion committee (1963 class) and we have learned that She lives alone and has no family to look after her only a friend that does not live close and cannot check on her daily. She was taken advantage by a tow truck driver that was to bring her gas but ended up towing her car and she had to pay to get it back. Getting so confused driving is dangerous to herself and others. She has taken to hoarding and it is not safe to enter her home per the friend. When asked her address she cannot tell the person on the phone. Once we find her location exactly what can we do and who can we call? She is very confused and owns a horse (maybe more) - she has been involved with horses her whole life so not sure how well they are taken care of or if she is getting "robbed" by the boarding stable. How can we help her this is eating us up?

It is so good that you are concerned! I think I would call Adult Protection Services. She is a vulnerable adult in need of some protection. They will investigate.
