Is there a similar forum to this but for younger disabled persons?

This is a great forum and for general information is very helpful. But I'm caring for my sister who is developmentally disabled and only 51 years old. Trying to find facilities, either skilled nursing or assisted living, is very difficult and some issues are different because she is under the age of 65. Anyone aware of a forum or bulletin board for "youngsters? :-) Thanks!

Usually the blogs are narrowed down to a specific issue. Autism has a site called autismmcclean.org. Cerebral Palsy has ucpII.org. Talk to your sister's MD or caseworker about groups they know of. My sister is 59 and lives in a group home, or ICF (intermediate care facility) which is paid for by Medicaid.
