My mother cannot drive herself and I do not live in Pulaski and she is going to have to have dialysis in the very near future and I don't know how she can get to Radford, Va 3 times a week .
I contacted the social worker at the dialysis treatment center and they gave us several options, one of which is free, government funded transportation. We were able to get the free transportation, but we were on a wait list for approx. 4 months until their budget was increased. Good luck!
Check her local bus service, they may have free or inexpensive senior transportation. Also, check with the social service agencies in her area for what is available. There might also be inhome dialysis available.
