Where to find short duration (few hours) in-home care?

Is this a relative you are taking care of? If they are on SSDI and Medicaid, they should have a social worker to help you out with getting an aid.

It probably would be a great idea for him to go to adult day care or start transitioning him to a residential facility. Eventually his needs will become more than the both of you can handle.

My wife's brother (73 yrs old) on medicare. She is primary caregiver w/me helping. As things are now, if we go somewhere, we have to take him along. She gets no respite.
