My dad, age 83, had a stroke. He's finishing a 2 week acute care rehab program. We need to decide if he will go to a local out-patient rehab (nursing home) of if we could possibly set up home health/rehab to come to his home. My step mom is there with him. Worried about finding very skilled vs not so skilled help.
Ask the Neurologist for a recommendation.
Observe him in PT and repeat those exercises daily at home. This part is an absolute must.
