If you can get the the pull ups on, they have smaller leg openings then the diapers.

There is a medical supply store in our community who will sell samples of different brands to try at home. They carry brands that grocery stores don't have, so you do get a broader set of choices with different cuts and fits.

I bet it is hard to find something that fits a person with smaller legs. A lot of what I have seen is cut for a person with big thighs and hips.
