The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is where I would start. (this doesn't allow you to quit your job, but it allows leave in certain circumstances)

FMLA will help protect your job but there's no money to help. I was told to check with medicaid but my mother doesn't qualify.Sad as it is our country, as wonderful as it is, will pay strangers to care for our loved ones but family members are a no. What is really sad is my mother lives with me for about a third of what a "skilled facility" costs. My mother takes care of my bills so I don't have to worry that my job is gone.
