My father lives in New York and has the Medicaid spend down program. He recently sold his home and wants to use the profits from the sale to buy a place for him self to live in. Will his Medicaid be affected?

Worried4parent, this is something only his State Medicaid office can answer, as each State handles their own Medicaid programs.
