My Father (74) has diabetes and chron's disease (colitis). Now a UTI and is in severe pain. Anyone have a similar experience?

I live far away and I'm feeling helpless and so bad for him. I'm worried the UTI may be affecting other areas.

I would call his police department and send them out to check his welfare. It sounds like he needs to be transported to the nearest ER as soon as possible.

An elderly person with a UTI can become confused and agitated. Have you experienced this with your dad? Does your dad have anyone looking after him? Has he gone to the Dr.? Is he on antibiotics for the UTI? What is causing his pain? The UTI or the colitis?
