How long does it take to hear back when submitting an Appeal/hearing request? It has been about 5 months since the hearing request was submitted. I have not heard from my attorney for several months, so should I think everything is going normally?  Anyone with experience in this area would be appreciated.

Your best bet is to call your Attorney and ask him/her what is the status of the hearing request.

Sorry there isn't anyone on-line at this point in time who is from New Jersey and who has dealt with said department.

Thank you for your reply. I sent an email asking the status and received no reply from my esq. I think his requests are being ignored by the State as well. I faxed and left a phone message with the States Case Manager and they were ignored. I am going to send a certified letter on Monday to the state. It is very strange that we have not received a date for a hearing and so many months have gone by.
