Find Care & Housing
I assume she is in a hospital or nursing home setting.
I assume you have talked to her caregivers.
I assume she has clean linens and her body is well cared for.

That said, I am so sorry.

It is so tough to watch this process. As they slow down and circulate less and their skin thins it is very difficult to keep them whole and well. We are here for you. You are not alone.

I'm so sorry; You might try getting some lambswool (if no allergies to wool), you can find it at the drug store.

Is she in the hospital? If so, then this is a completely different question actually. In a nursing home or hospital these things should be addressed immediately and with haste. All bed sore have to be reported to the state. That said, if she is at home, I would think home health care would know the right patches to put on. Some are stronger than others. You absolutely need to consult with a doctor if she's at home as bed sores can cause other problems. On the other hand, if her living will asks you to do nothing, then that might be a completely different story. I am so sorry that this is happening and I hope that things will get better for you soon. It's a difficult life being a caretaker.

I agree. If you are caring for her at home it is good to reach out to someone in hospice, your doctor, or other elderly care-giving role. They will have good information
