How can I get my mother to cooperate in regard to moving around being more nicer?

If you're talking about her getting exercise then tell her that moving around will keep her healthier and more independent. Stress the independence...

Well it looks like you have two different questions here. Do you want her to 'move around' AND 'be nicer'? I don't know how anyone can make someone be 'nice', that's kind of a personality issue isn't it? You can tell someone to knock it off when they get bratty, but other than that.... don't know.
