Today is my dumb question day. Is there a separate section for discussions rather than questions? I am new to the Forum so was not sure....Thanks

By the way was not what category to put this question under (smile)

Yes, there is a Discussion section. We are not always accurate in where we post things, but questions, dumb and otherwise, are supposed to be posted under Ask a Question and discussions go in a section below the Questions section called Discussions. Pretty clever, huh? They both are under the menu button Ask a Question. Scroll past the Questions section, and there it is!

Are you viewing this on a computer screen or a mobile device? If you can't seem to scroll down far enough, post again on this thread and someone who used a device similar to yours may be able to give you more specific help.

The site administrators have been known to move posts around if they feel the are in the wrong section. I'm not sure it really matters where you post.

Questions often can morph into discussions as they’ll get a conversation going. The “rules” on this site are pretty flexible. There’s several regular posters with distinct perspectives and knowledge on specific areas.

If dealing with Medicaid is in your future, one of the experts on this site, Gabriel Heiser, has a book “Medicaid Secrets” that is a really in-depth overview of how to think about planning for your parents or your own long term care & what Medicaid (& Medicare as well) role can be. You can get it on Amazon but it’s at most public libraries as well.

Also site administrators now have a Glossary of acronyms, which will be useful for a newbie on AC.

Ha, not dumb question...or I’m probably dumb too! By the content I sometimes have a hard time distinguishing the difference between questions and discussions...I just look for the number of responses and if its big I figure it’s a discussion.
