melbel, certainly go see the orthopedic specialist if he takes Medicaid. He may want a referral from your primary doctor. Your treatment options will be limited to those that LA Medicaid will cover. He would need to see you before he knows what treatment you need.

You will need to call the Louisiana Medicaid office to get that information. Every State has different rules and regulations, and new laws going into place.

I need to see a bone and joint specialist. They accept Medicaid. Need to know if my card covers this.
