Find Care & Housing
I’ve recently started counseling by phone. Like Skype. It’s called video counseling. I don’t have to go to the therapists office. Just speak to and see her by phone. My husband is in the medical field. He found this . I’m in PA. I imagine there’s something like this in many places. Good luck. Want to add , I have the option to go to the counseling office. For me, I prefer staying at home and not traveling to their office

I would recommend finding a qualified in person counselor that you can speak with person to person. Not via on-line or on the phone. Or perhaps a local support group.

I agree, however I don’t have the time. I work full time and into the evenings and take care of my dad on my days off so I have no free time for myself.

Nope. but do you have access to NAMI National Alliance for Mental Illness in your area? It’s for low income people.

Only from us :)

Speaking as someone who only survived caregiving thanks to the brilliant, knowledgeable, supportive and loving people on this forum, I can certainly recommend it as a good start for anyone who's in trouble. Can we help?

Thank you, but a friend sent me the link to this site as she thought they offered free on-line counseling for caregivers. It’s a very complicated situation I’m dealing with here. Way beyond Just taking care of my father who’s on hospice and dying of terminal inoperable liver cancer, hospice dropped him on his head on hard tile and mishandled the situation, his care giver who’s there 5 days a week, me the other two days is not doing a great job and I’m having problems with her, plus major problems with other family members (siblings who are already stealing) it goes way beyond the norm) all while trying to work full time and handle my own life. It’s a complicated mess.

No, the only counsel you will get here is advice from a whole lot of other people who are caregivers.
