My Long Term Care Insurance covers consultations with "Private Care Managers" or "Elder Care Managers". However, they require that the manager have a certificate or license. My research suggests that my state of residence, North Carolina does not require such a credential - and those managers I have consulted are unaware of such a requirement. Without the certification, they will not reimburse us. Any advice?
