Does Medicare pay for in-home service?

Asking for elderly neighbors that have no children near. They are both losing sight in eyes. Can care for themselves physically, but need someone to assist with some cleaning. Low income. Can you advise me so I can help them?

No, Medicare only pays for health bills. You may want to try Medicaid for services and your County Office of Aging or Senior agency.
